I don't have any vegetable oil to make my Duncan Hines Chewy Fudge Brownies, can I replace the vegetable oil with anything?What can I replace vegetable oil with to make brownies?

You can use butter, shortening, or lard (which is actually better for you than vegetable shortening).





Or you can replace about 3/4 of the fat with apple sauce.

I have used olive oil before. With brownies you don't taste it.
apple sauce, water, chocolate syrup.
margarine butter, it isn't as good though. I'd just wait to make them.
