Is Vegetable oil and Olive oil good for your body?

Or is 1 good and 1 is bad or are they both good or bad?

What are the healthiest oil's in someones diet?

What is Canola Oil?Is Vegetable oil and Olive oil good for your body?
Most of the time VO contains hydrogenated fats when you purchase anything labeled with VO. Be very wise when purchasing food products with VO. It's just another name the companies use to fool us consumers into thinking there is actually something good in the product. Don't be fooled.

The best oil to buy is Olive oil. Also avocado oil. Both high in monounsaturated fats which are very good for you.

Canola oil, like a lot of the ';vegetable oils';, have been genetically modified which is why you can't find any in the UK. There is plenty of Canola Oil on American shelves in most grocery stores, but not here. The UK is very strict what comes into the country.

Genetically modified foods are derived from plants which is why most of the oils can be harmful if not chosen wisely. Here are some to steer clear of: soybean, canola, corn and cottonseed oils.Is Vegetable oil and Olive oil good for your body?
not really... clogs pores............
Olive oil has less polyunsaturated fats. You can cook with it too, just watch that you don't cook on too high a heat.
Olive oil is always the best because it doesn't have cholesterol. Too much oil, as anything else which is too much, is not good, unless you live in a freezing country.

Canola oil is the oil extracted from a grain called canola and is low cholesterol, and thus, healthier than other grain oils.
Both of these oils are better for you than saturated fat and I believe olive oil is better than other veg. oils but in small amounts of course. Canola oil is made from canola seeds and is a vegetable oil. Olive oil is probably the healthiest.
Canola oil and Sunflower oil is best for you, because it has zero trans fat. Believe it or not, vegetable oil is more fattening than anything else. And if you're going to use olive oil, you need to buy the most expensive brands or else you're just getting leftovers.
Olive Oil is the best for health.
Olive oil has good properties as does canola oil.
yes. The only oil thats not good 4 u is the grease from fried foods.
canola oil or rapeseed oil.. is an adaption of the two words canadian %26amp; oil.

no one liked the name rape in a food product..

that and olive oil are mostly beneficial oils.

vegetable oil is usually soy or a combination and has more negatives than the two above.

there's poly mono and saturated and unsaturated and trans fats to consider .

then there is omega 6 and 3

and it can get complex.

good fish oils, flaxseed, others too.

I'm now told by MD canola is better for me than olive with cholesterol heart issues getting old etc.

.also note a test was done that olive pomace oil (less flavor used fro frying is safer than canola as cooks in the USA tend to fry too hot .

over 350 produces the same chemical in cigarettes that causes lung cancer. others produce it at lower heats,,

i cant find the really good older reference from prevention magazine healing food cookbook (in most libraries) and good foods cook book (another author), but they are both a good read.

for basic, but incomplete, oil info compliments of the feds...

I heard that Olive oil is good 4 u, but I really dont know about vegetable oil or Canola oil.

I have no idea what that is?
Olive oil doesn't clog your arteries, other oils do.
All vegetable oils are OK... some better than others.

Here are the differences among these healthy fats as well as the best food sources for each type:

Monounsaturated fat remains liquid at room temperature but may start to solidify in the refrigerator. Foods high in monounsaturated fat include olive, peanut and canola oils. Avocados and most nuts also have high amounts of monounsaturated fat.

Polyunsaturated fat is usually liquid at room temperature and in the refrigerator. Foods high in polyunsaturated fats include vegetable oils, such as safflower, corn, sunflower, soy and cottonseed oils.

Omega-3 fatty acids are polyunsaturated fats found mostly in seafood. Good sources of omega 3s include fatty, cold-water fish, such as salmon, mackerel and herring. Flax seeds, flax oil and walnuts also contain omega-3 fatty acids, and small amounts are found in soybean and canola oils.
Olive oil is better. Your body can digest it better than the other oils.
