Can i use vegetable oil, instead of olive oil ?

I want to make a certain chicken and potato dish, but it says to drizzle the chicken and potatos with olive oil, and i do not have olive oil, all i have is vegetable oil, i was wondering if that was okay to use?Can i use vegetable oil, instead of olive oil ?
Yes you can use any oil you have, the flavour will be very little Olive oil is healthier. but I always use canola or sunflower oil despite what a recipe saysCan i use vegetable oil, instead of olive oil ?
Yes. Olive oil is very flavorful but veggie oil works also.
As long as it tatse good to you!
I would skip the oil and use either butter or margarine that has been melted. Plain oil will have no flavor really.
It's okay. You won't get some of the flavors of using the olive oil.
I'm assuming the drizzling is at the end of the recipe. if you don't have olive oil, just skip it. the whole point is to show off the wonderful flavor of the olive oil. If it's like roasted potatoes, and you're to drizzle before you cook, yeah, you're fine to use vegetable oil. if you have canola or grapeseed, I'd use one of those instead though.
