Can I substitute butter made from vegetable oil for the real stuff in brownie mix?

I'm stuck home for the moment, no car, and trying to make brownies from a Betty Crocker mix - quick and simple. I have no vegetable oil though, but the butter I have is 65% veg. oil. Would this work almost as well? Can I substitute butter made from vegetable oil for the real stuff in brownie mix?
